She died on 22 Oct, 1942 at 8 Oliver Road in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England at the age of forty-one. Her death was attributed to "pulmonary tuberculosis". She had no children.

His death was attributed to "erysipelas" (a skin infection, commonly known as St. Anthony's Fire due to the burning sensation experienced).
