I spent time this year trying to resolve the baptism of George Hall, eventually identifying the right ancestor as baptised at Horton in 1799. I also worked on George Carr of Hexham, tracing him through poll books from Dotland Park and comparing three competing baptism records, with DNA pointing towards a Bainbridge connection though the evidence wasn't conclusive. A newspaper search confirmed John Richardson's drowning at Billy Mill Quarry in 1806 through a report in the Tyne Mercury. I also looked into Dorothy Davidson's birth, investigated spelling variations of Ambry/Amory/Emery in Felton and Ulgham, searched for a possible baptism for Joseph Chamberlain in Colchester, and continued working on the Dunmore brick wall.
