I was looking over some work I did last year around John Bryant and got interested in the John Bryant I found in 1901 in somerset. I decided to look for his wife Eliza in 1891. I looked for all Elizas born around 1869 in Clandown, Somerset and found only one and she was still living in Midsomer Norton.

I then looked in the 1881 for other John Bryant’s born in Risca. There was only one result - the one we already know about living with Bridget. I searched again for John Bryants in wales and got 68. I refined it to those born one year around 1865 and got 3 results.

Harvey

This evening I started looking over some of the old notes I made back in the eighties. I saw the transcription of harvey family bible and thought I could find those people in the 1891 and 1901 census. Bridget’s daughter Jenny Palmer married a Harvey and had many children. I found Jenny and Alfred Harvey in 1891:
