Ancestry announced the availability of the online version of the 1861 census. I had a hunt for Bridget Dineen. I managed to find this entry which I believe is her mother and father:

This is the first time that we have found birthplaces for Daniel Dineen and Mary Nihan. I suspect that their Irish accents were very strong which would explain their unusual name spellings. It once again confirms the link between the Dineen family and the Ford family. Perhaps they came over from Ireland together.
