We looked for Amos Rogers birth certificate on 1837 online. We believe his birthday to be 29th May from Auntie Mabel’s birthday book and that he also died in March 1961 aged 80 so we used this to start the search. This is what we found:

 Birth of Amos Rogers, September quarter 1880, Wellingborogh, vol 3b, p 137.

The last looks more likely because in the census Amos said he was born in Rushden.

Facer

We searched for Mary E Facer’s birth certificate on 1837 online. From Mabel’s birthday book we thought her birth date was 8th April 1877. Bearing this in mind we searched from April quarter 1877 to December quarter 1878 to no avail. Decided to go backwards and found:
